You can permanently delete your CleanRead AI account and the associated library data from inside the app. You may also contact SECOND WIND LIMITED for help with a deletion request.
Delete your account in the app
- Open CleanRead AI.
- Open Courses, then tap the account icon.
- Scroll to Delete account.
- Review the confirmation message and confirm permanent deletion.
If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account and use the subject “CleanRead account deletion.” We may ask you to verify that you control the account before processing the request.
Data deleted
Deleting your account removes active CleanRead account data, including:
- Your CleanRead account profile and authentication link.
- Your document library, imported files, extracted text, and generated summaries.
- Generated study audio, reading progress, course organization, and usage balances.
- Your CleanRead subscription entitlement association.
Deleting your CleanRead account does not cancel an active Google Play or App Store subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription in the store account used to purchase it.
Retention
We begin processing verified deletion requests promptly. Limited security, billing, fraud-prevention, legal, and backup records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Backup copies are removed according to our normal backup lifecycle and are not used to restore a deleted account.
